Ugh...sooner or later people will get wise and stop throwing money away against the Birds. I think. It's just upsetting to think of people losing money on this game today betting against us (the Eagles, their fans, the entire city of Philadelphia...when you bet against the Eagles you bet against everything that goes with it). :neenee: :neenee: :neenee:

I'll say this Chad. Carolina was able to move the ball at times. They did have some success running the ball and going underneath to Goings but they became one dimensional and hardly ever threw downfield and make our secondary work (and when they did Delhomme was horrible). They had no answer for TO and spent all their energy containing Westbrook (which they did an excellent job of til late).
I just felt with all of the Panther injuries plus for two weeks I heard nothing around here but "this is our big game...this is payback...what happened in January will not happen Sunday" and Andy being 5-0 after a bye (now 6-0) they would be ready. I'm a little over excited about the win because there were some demons to exorcize and I felt they did that today.
Now next week...that may be another story. I think the fact that the Browns won big today will help their motivation but it's a possible flat spot. The Birds for me are too good to fade right now but if you're looking for a ho hum game (like Chicago was) this one might be it.
